Our design concept for the MCR celebrates the high plains of Colorado. The client identified the need for a regional resort experience in a family centered facility that promotes a safe and healthy environment for all. Local art work, regional natural materials and an easily identifiable central public circulation core set the stage. Textured materials and saturated earthy colors are juxtaposed against contemporary metals and woods. Our holistic design approach included sustainable materials and furnishings with products meant for longevity and ease of maintenance. The Medical Center of the Rockies is certified LEED Silver through USGBC.
